Your Student Homepage

The Student Homepage is where you’ll find information on the student support services that will help you make the most of your student experience. If you’re unsure where to find a campus building, how to access a university service or where to find some general information, the Student Homepage is a good place to start! We recommend you set this page as your web browser homepage so you don't miss any information shared there.

The Student Essentials section on the Student Homepage provides easy access to:

· Your University emails – please check regularly for important University updates

· Your timetable

· Your Virtual Learning Environment (Canvas) for all your online learning

You can find campus study spaces from the main homepage via the and navigate your way around campus using our interactive map.

You’ll also find links to the key academic and support services such as University Library, the IT Service and our Student Health and Wellbeing teams.

Student Newsletter

During term time, if you’re an undergraduate or postgraduate taught student, you will receive a fortnightly Student Life newsletter If you are a postgraduate research student you will receive a monthly PGR newsletter. The newsletters will be sent to your University email account. Please check your 'Other' inbox if you don't receive them into your ‘Focused’ inbox. Our newsletters share important and helpful information with you, so we actively encourage you to read them. There is sometimes the chance to enter prize draws, so you might win something too! They'll look like this:

Student Noticeboard

Our Student Noticeboard is updated frequently with the latest updates, events and opportunities. We recommend bookmarking this so you can check this bulletin board regularly as there will be opportunities you don’t want to miss! If you are a postgraduate research student, please use our dedicated PGR Noticeboard.

Emails

Important information and updates will be sent to your University email address. It may be a good idea to set up notifications on your devices so you don’t miss anything essential! Sometimes emails can end up in your ‘Other’ inbox instead of your ‘Focused’ inbox so please be sure to check both these inboxes frequently.
